Visit to high schools (ambassadors program), fairs or workshops for the recruitment campaign

Preparation and execution of 5 visits, of no more than an hour and a half each, in which students will go to an institute, fair or conference, to tell high school students about their experience at university, and above all, their experience in the degree they have chosen. It can be at the UPV or off-campus.

The Communication Area will provide the students interested in this activity with all the material and explanation and the appointments with the different institutes or fairs.

The completion of 5 visits throughout the course is required.

Each visit involves the following work:
- Study what the UPV is and what it offers.
- Presentation rehearsal
- Visit and presentation at the institute, fair, or conference
- Resolution of doubts to high school students according to their experience.

The Communication Area will provide the content and the students, who will be assisted in rehearsing it, will have to contribute their experience.

Students should develop their transversal competencies of communication, teamwork, analysis, and problem-solving that may arise during the presentations and visits to institutes, fairs or conferences, both online and in person.

Innovation, motivation, and creativity are expected in the presentations, and ethical, environmental, and professional responsibility in the answers.

In addition, students will be able to develop critical thinking, engage in lifelong learning, and learn about contemporary issues, depending on the subject matter of each institute or fair.

The date of the visit will require you to plan and manage your time as you will need to have your presentation ready on the day and time of your visit. Your presentation will be evaluated by the students and teachers of the school.

Observaciones: Se pondrá en común las líneas a seguir por cada uno de los alumnos que decidan participar. Se estudiará el área de influencia, ferias, jornadas o institutos a visitar y se les proporcionará la formación, el material, fecha y hora de visita. 30 horas corresponde a 5 eventos. Quedará registrado por parte del área de comunicación qué institutos, ferias o jornadas se han visitado y de cuántas horas ha sido la actividad. También se incluyen presentaciones online o visitas en los centros y los propios campus de la UPV.
