Scientific-technical seminars: "International Seminars in Life Sciences", "Biotechnology Study Group", "Soft Skills for Engineers"

A series of seminars aimed mainly at students of the ETSEAMN (Bachelor's Degrees in Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology, Agri-Food and Rural Engineering and Forestry and Natural Environment Engineering), from related areas and students participating in mobility programmes (incomings) of the UPV, by speakers from other universities or research centres of recognised prestige (Spanish and foreign).

Observaciones: Se podrá participar en uno o dos bloques de 10 conferencias (cada uno) en los que se estructura la actividad. Para obtener el reconocimiento será necesario asistir a un 80% de las conferencias del/de los bloque/s elegido/s y, de éstas, entregar un resumen/comentario relativo al contenido expuesto y debatido.

Forma de acreditación: Certificado de asistencia/aprovechamiento la actividad llevada a cabo por el estudiante, expedido por el órgano responsable de la actividad

Tareas

Writing a report on each seminar attended

Students have to deliver written reports from each attended seminar using the template provided for that purpose. In general, reports should include an introductory description of the topic presented followed by a structured development of the main points discussed (part 1), and individual comments reflecting the student¿s own position regarding the aspects addressed in the seminar as well as comments on topic and lecturer¿s work (part 2).

Objetivos:

El objetivo general de los seminarios es presentar a los estudiantes los desarrollos de investigación actuales y lo último en tecnología en una variedad de dominios relacionados con las 'Biociencias', incluyendo la Agricultura, la Silvicultura, la Ciencia de los Alimentos y la Bioingeniería.
