COMPUTER EQUIPMENT RECYCLING WORKSHOP FOR REDUCE E-WASTE OF ETSINF

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
The workshop is part of the ETSINF's strategy to help reduce waste
e-waste and expand our collaboration with non-profit organizations
pursuing social goals by donating reused equipment in the workshop. He

OBJECTIVES
Provide the student with the necessary skills to face and solve problems
environmental and social issues associated with information and communication technologies

and the digital divide. At the end of the activity students will understand the benefits

PROGRAMMING
The volunteer students collaborate in the recycling program throughout the year
academic. At the beginning they receive an explanation of the procedure to be performed on each team,
prior to your donation. Afterwards, the student accesses the workshop to perform the
computer processing and actively participates in the publication of content of
awareness in these matters through the website of the subdirectorate of students,
development and university extension (adeu.inf.upv.es). Access to the workshop is on time
free depending on the student's availability.
EVALUATION
The student evaluation system is based on assigning them a certain amount of
equipment to be processed at a specific time.
