Videos for the UPV screens

Production of 30 videos of no more than 15 seconds for broadcasting on the UPV's outdoor screens, with two different formats (vertical and horizontal) and alternating versions in Spanish and Valencian, as well as different dimensions and technical characteristics (all the information will be provided to students interested in this activity).

Students will have to design videos related to university life, science, related news, or UPV services that reflect the day-to-day life of the university. They will be guided by staff from the Communication Department.

30 videos (each in four versions, depending on the format -vertical and horizontal- and the language -Spanish and Valencian-) are required to be made during the course.

Each video involves the work of:
- Original idea
- Writing of the script and outline
- Previous production
- Elaboration of interviews
- Recording of images and editing

The content will be supervised by the Communication Area and the students will be assisted by them when it comes to devising and broadcasting it.

Students must develop their transversal skills in communication, teamwork, analysis, and problem-solving that may arise during the making of the videos.

Innovation and creativity are expected in the writing and production of the materials, as well as ethical, environmental, and professional responsibility in the contents.

In addition, students will be able to develop critical thinking, engage in lifelong learning and learn about contemporary issues, depending on the subject matter of each video.

The broadcast date will require you to plan and manage your time as you will need to have the files ready on the day and time of the broadcast.
