The Comprehensive Student Accompaniment Plan (PIAE+) is a systematic orientation, guidance and support project, immersed in the curriculum and guaranteed by the UPV, which is addressed to its students from their enrollment (in any undergraduate, master's and doctoral course ) until the end of their studies. It aims to promote the comprehensive development of students in the academic, personal and social spheres throughout their university stage, avoiding dropout and favoring academic success, so that they can successfully enter the labor market. It is conceived as a pedagogical resource that facilitates guidance and comprehensive support for its students, accompanying them during their university studies, to improve levels of academic performance, avoid dropping out and stimulate the acquisition of transversal skills.
It is an institutional project, shared by all the agents involved: centres, management teams, teaching staff, students and UPV services, which the Universitat Politècnica de València makes available to its students during their university stage to promote their comprehensive development in the academic, personal and social environment, so that each center has a team of teachers and student tutors to carry out the tutoring.
In addition to tutoring for conventional students, we find ourselves increasingly with tutoring needs for students with specific needs. These students must be tutored following particular indications for each of them that are provided, among others, by the CEDAT. Due to the fact that this tutoring requires a special effort, we propose this activity to be able to properly recognize it to the students.
