Resumen

This project is related with the preparation of new probes and new hybrid materials. One part of the project deals with the preparation of gated materials and their use in on-command delivery applications and in the design of new sensing protocols. As an important objective this part of the project will be devoted to the design of specific delivery systems of potential clinical applications. Another part of the project deals with the preparation of new chromo-fluorogenic probes and electronic tongues and noses, for the detection of selected target biomolecules and hazardous compounds. The project is highly interdisciplinary and has been structured in terms of the close cooperation of researchers experts in different fields. The project is based on the expertise of different participant researchers in certain fields that will apply to the following two main objectives: - Development of smart hybrid organic-inorganic materials for on-command cargo release applied to drug delivery and sensing. Design of novel chemical amplification procedures. - Development of hybrid-sensing solids and probes (including electronic-based devices) for the selective and sensitive detection of selected hazardous compounds
