Abstract
The collaboration towards proper management of knowledge in the maintenance activity, is even more necessary given the characteristics in which it operates, where traditionally working in Islands of knowledge, and the staff works on the basis of the experiences over the years, with a link to the factory to keep important time. This article describes the principles of cooperation of the group for the exchange of information, as well as the General characteristics for generating knowledge in industrial maintenance organization
