Abstract
The purpose of this work is to analyze the impact of environmental policies on the long-term performance of a single-product supply chain. For this purpose, a system dynamics-based tool is presented that helps improve our understanding of how reverse supply chains with product returns perform. It also permits the analysis of possible problems and their solutions that this supply chain type faces, and provides a basis for future related research work
