Abstract

Particle reinforced polymer based composite materials have been extensively investigated especially in connection with their structural application potential and designation. Mechanical properties, including elastic properties, were retrieved using tensile, bending or compressive experimental settings where temperature variation was not considered as variable or by means of dynamical mechanical analysis when frequency and temperature range were tackled to be sized as additional loading conditions [1-2]. Laser ultrasound, running in ablative mode, proved to be an alternative new cutting edge technology to composite materials' elastic properties retrieval dueto its noncontact, highly precisely solution provided, despite disadvantages induce by rather expensive experimental configuration and data processing.
