Abstract
In this work, we present a contribution to the development of hybrid (metal oxide/ polymer) solar cells that incorporate an intermediate ZnO seed layer to provide a direct and ordered path for photo-generated electrons. This layer was prepared by DC sputtering on commercial ITO (In2O3:Sn) covered glass substrates, its thickness was varied up to 70 nm through variation of the sputtering time. Following this, zinc oxide nanostructured films were electrochemically grown through pulsed electrodeposition technique.
