Abstract

Consensus1 is a known method to achieve an agree- ment about the value of a variable of interest in a net- work, in a decentralized way. Nevertheless, the original algorithm assumes the existence of some global parame- ters needed to guarantee the convergence of the model. Furthermore, no modifications in the network are allowed during the process, that converges to average of the ini- tial values. This work proposes a generalization of the consensus process.
