Abstract

Fluorescence excitation-emission matrices (EEMs) were used to characterize the transformation of the humic-like substances (HLS) obtained from urban wastes when used as additive in the photo-Fenton processes. To this end, photochemical experiments at different pHs, in the absence and presence of H2O2 were performed. Also, the interaction between HLS and Fe(III) was studied.
