Abstract

For years, public opinion considers that food security is one of the most important issues currently. FAO estimates that about 805 million people worldwide are hungry. For this reason and in this context, the spread of food prices between producers and consumers will be studied. This indicator will be related to food security indexes. With such aim in mind, the cluster and CHAID methodologies will be used. It can be concluded that developed and developing countries have different behaviours about this issue.
