Abstract
There is not a well-defined way to model pressure-dependant leaks in networks through EPANET. This contribution presents a procedure to prioritize possible different criteria to distribute existing leakage throoughout the network. Next,an iterative process is described to fit the adequate leak coefficients. The final outcome is a network model in which the real losses amount the same, behave the same and are spatially distributed the same as in the real network.
