Abstract
This paper describes the design and construction of a crossed slot antenna array to be applied to an Incoherent Dispersion Radar for measuring parameters of the Ionosphere. The slot antenna was designed and optimized with electromagnetic simulation software. The results of the measurements of a line array as an intermediate instance in the development of a twodimensional array are shown and compared with simulations on a model.
