Knowledge management in the departments of companies with large productive physical assets maintenance is a subject little studied and often forgotten. This article shows a review of two books of research dealing with this topic, published after field research applied in European real industrial companies, which mark the consequences of showing knowledge as an important asset which affects the maintainability, reliability and energy efficiency.
