Abstract
This paper presents a device to assess the condition of a medium voltage switchgear by measuring multiple variables without
disrupting their primary function. All the collected data is processed by using a health index model based on experimental
statistical data, and the resulting information is displayed on an interface where the user can interact to know the expected health
of the switchgear or each internal component. The acquisition of such information offers benefits such as reduced need for onsite
inspections and tests, ultimately lowering maintenance costs and preventing failures.
