Dielectric Tuners

New device that can be used to tune microwave filters based on coupled waveguide cavities. The classical method for tuning cavity-based microwave filters is using various types of metallic inserts (or tuners) that, by disturbing the shape of the fields inside a cavity resonator, can effectively change the resonant frequency of the cavity. The new device, composed by sapphire tunners and electric motors, allows user to reconfigure the filter automatically with a previous calculated table of the positions for different channels along all the available bandwidth.
