Resumen
The main objective of PREDIC-PRO is leveraging the Earth Observation (EO) technology within the
EU Copernicus program and improving its agronomic interpretation towards a more efficient,
sustainable, and conducted precision agriculture. Particularly, we will develop descriptive,
predictive and prescriptive EO-based yield models targeting the main cereals planted in Spain: wheat,
barley and rice. To do so, an extensive and unvaluable agronomic database, including innovative yield
maps retrieved by harvesting machines, will be collected over three test sites across the main
agricultural regions in Valencia, Sevilla and Valladolid. The final goal is producing predictive yield models to optimize agricultural management and improve crops' final production.
