Resumen

The digital transformation of society must rely on the use of data and on digital channels and environments. Existing social networks, or even the forthcoming metaverse, are digital channels for the spreading of information, either true or harmful. The spreading of harmful information can damage institutions (interfering in elections with fake news), health systems (as is the case with anti vaccine movements), companies' and individuals' integrity (with misinformation or hate speech), and security agencies (fostering anti-system movements). So as to, a society endowed with tools for monitoring and detecting harmful information spreading will have more solid institutions, and companies and individuals will be safer within digital media. For contributing to these goals, we have set the following objectives: O1. Generate several annotated corpora for being used for training and evaluation of the models developed along the project. O2. Development of AI methods for the identification of harmful information on Twitter.
